Program Description

From towering forests to sandy seashores, regional parks are filled with fun, hands-on learning environments. Park interpreters lead field trips outdoors for about 2 hours. Students are engaged in discovery, activities and games related to the topic.

    The cost for in-park field trips is $160 per class (max 30).

    Once the program is booked, you'll need to pay, either by

    • cheque payable to "Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Interpretation", or
    • credit card by calling 604-432-6359

    Payment needs to be made no later than 2 weeks after receiving your invoice.

    Until the Province of BC enters Step 4 of its Restart Plan, we are waiving the fee for cancellations and date changes due to COVID-19-related concerns. For cancellations and changes unrelated to COVID-19, please see our original policy below.

    Programs take place in all weather conditions, unless deemed unsafe by Metro Vancouver. A $25 administration fee is retained for all cancellations and date changes. No refund will be issued if you cancel less than two weeks before your program date.
