Refunds are not given except in the event of a cancellation by the VSO.

Deposit Comment:

A deposit of 10% is required to hold concert date and time.

Registration and payment may also be mailed in. Full payment is required no later than 3 weeks before the concert. You have the option of paying in full at the time of your registration or sending a non-refundable deposit to hold your preferred date with the balance to arrive 3 weeks prior to the concert. VSO Education reserves the right to cancel any order submitted but not paid for by the payment deadline. Seating is assigned on a FIRST PAID IN FULL - BEST SEATING basis. Deposits hold your preferred concert date and seats are assigned as complete payment is received.

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra: The Music Room

Discover the the VSO’s headquarters for virtual learning and performance: The Music Room. It includes VSO concert programs designed especially for young audiences with accompanying educational resources and learning guides, added regularly throughout the VSO season.
Here’s what you’ll find in The Music Room this year:
- Elementary School Concerts: An expanded selection of fun, educational and interactive musical experiences for grades K-7, delivered right to your school or home!

- Little Kids Concerts For young children aged 0-4 and their grown-ups, featuring plenty of singing, clapping and movement.

- Backstage Pass The Backstage Pass gives you the inside scoop on featured music and the fascinating
people who bring it to life. In this area of The Music Room, you’ll find a variety of digital resources including interviews, behind the scenes videos, and much more about our music and musicians. Additionally, you can
view a series of interactive Virtual VSO Connects videos designed for school and home learners of all ages added throughout the year.

How does it work? The Music Room is subscription-based, with full-year classroom subscriptions including access to all education concerts and resources starting at $75+tax.

VSO Elementary School Concerts: Compose Yourself! Grades 2-5

How does the symphony orchestra actually work? Who is the mysterious student taking notes behind the harp? The perfect blend of entertainment and education, Compose Yourself helps kids discover the instruments of the orchestra and how you actually put a symphony together. Jess Shead makes a behind the scenes visit to the Orpheum. This made-for-video adaptation features lots of opportunities to get to know the instruments of the orchestra, and the wonderful people who play them!
